I need to find a good message board (like UBB) for my Bob message board.
I want it to be a .zip file, so i can uplaod it to tripod and it will unzip into my directory (tripod does this). But I tried a couple different forums and they had illegal file names that i oculdnt use in tripod. I tried YaBB and XMB.

I fear that having a forum on my webserver in conjunction with the chatroom i will eventually put there will be too much for my little server.

YaBB (http://www.yabbforum.com/) does work on Tripod, read this (http://www.yabbforum.com/community/?board=yabbwebhost;action=display;num=1020616147).

If it has to be a Perl one, your only two choices are YaBB (http://www.yabbforum.com/) and ikonboard (http://www.ikonboard.com/). If it's PHP you're after, I suggest you go with phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/). There are loads of others out there, but phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/) is the most popular.

I will probably use YaBB for any other forum i ever make though. I like YaBB!
