Title: Steal this book
Post by: RudeCat7 on 25 September 2002, 21:59
I was at the Barnes & Noble, and I saw that book: Steal this Book 2. It seems really interesting.

Does anyone have comments? buy?/not buy?/steal?

Uhm, the first "Steal this book" was a load of shit information (Energetic Materials) wise, though I'd suggest it for a good read as there's a lot of commentary on it.

I didnt know they did a 2nd, so I cant say good/bad/burn.

i got a copy of 'steal this computer book 2' by wallace wang, but it's a year or two old, that's not the same one is it? there's actually not that much in my one that is about computers, it is largely about comms and information technology in general.

Good book, the free CD will be a bit dated but will give you a good idea of what's what, lots of good URLs in there too.

Of course, that's not the same book is it?

Yeah, that must be it. Same name, with a CD in the back, by Wang, I didn't realize that it came out 2 years ago. Hmmm.
