Title: How do we download streaming video to disk?
Post by: Calum on 10 November 2002, 14:44
hello all,
i have found some videos that i want to download at

http://www.mtv.de/turntablerocker/stream.php (http://www.mtv.de/turntablerocker/stream.php)
and
http://www.turntablerocker.com/ (http://www.turntablerocker.com/)

the former appears to be real streaming video (at three different fixed bitrates) and the latter appears to be quicktime embedded in html pages.

I have a very slow connection and i want to download the high res versions to disk and watch them later. can this be easily done? and if so how?

thanks in advance. I should imagine the quicktime ones are easy, just view source of the html files and save target as when you find out the absolute url of the file, but what about the realmedia ones?
