Title: how does this cpu look?

I didn't see a hardware only forum so I posted this here.  I am building my own pc for the first time and this is what i have come up with so far.  I just want to know if there are going to be incompatabilities or something that I'm not seeing.

Now as for ram, that mobo uses DDR.  On pricewatch they have pc3500 all the way down to pc1600.  I am just assuming that the mobo can use those and all in between?  Is it worth the extra money to go with the pc3500?  Any other ideas/suggestions?  Thanks.

OK, can use either PC1600/PC2100/PC2700

Nice case...just get plenty of quiet fans. I recommend Vantec stealths.

My iMac doesn't have fans. Convection cooled! Just don't block the smokestack!

But my other computer is a PDP-3 and it has several box fans....

...not really...

My other computer is a Power Mac 7200 and it's got a fan... I wish I had a PDP to fiddle with! MWA HA HA!

your the moderator of the "Microsoft Hardware" forum... are you implying that he should only use Microsoft on this computer... then this could be put in your forum.

maybe it would be better to rename it to ALL HARDWARE, why should microsoft's shitware have its own forums, and i have to post in the lounge?
