(off topic)my friend just got a BSOD - "device driver stuck in an infinite loop" and this is with a one year old windows XP certified cdrom.
ROFL ROFL ROFL!(back on topic)
Well guys (mainly apple users) I just saw a clip you may be interested in - its a movie called "net warriors" which you can find by searching for "enwarriors" on mirror.aarnet.edu.au
It's an educational movie about the net which in my opinion contains more fallacies and bad generalisations than truths - the time saved in teaching would be lost double in getting kids to unlearn what they learnt in this crap movie. The part I think you would be interested in is where the narrator refers to appletalk packets as quote:
going the wrong way as usual
LOL. Does anyone else (with highbandwidth obviously) want to see this and give me their opinion on this? I'd also be interested in finding out if anyone else believs Microsoft funded this. ;)

I'd love to see it Faust but unfortunately I'm still on dialup, so.. I'll take your word for it though. (http://smile.gif)
EDIT: It must be a bit outdated, since it refers to AppleTalk, which was of course replaced by the TCP/IP protocol after the adoption of Darwin and the creation of OS X. I'd like to see that guy talking about packets going the wrong way, in TCP/IP, lol. :D

I didn't think it was bad. It was kinda cute for a noob to the concepts behind the net. (though the animation was lame)
I found it pretty straight forward and educational.

OMG it's sooooo corny.
Informational, yes. It's like IP for Dummies. But it does have that subliminal message that Appletalk sucks. It kinda did, if you ask me...
