what the hell is with hell.com
have any of you been there?
-
Is that supposed to mean something? Is there some inner meaning that I'm missing? Or is is just stupid? Not the thread, the site.

i have no idea. I applied for "the guestlist" though.
....not sure if you noticed but you must click on the words which will open a popup, then you must move the mouse around till the symbol appears (the colour fades and changes) then click on it, then it says access is restricted to those on the guestlist. Then you can apply for the guestlist.

in my opinion, hell.com falls under the "art" section of web sites.
-
along while back i got an email address from there but i never used it. i always thought it was a waste of a good site name
-
well... I am now an invited guest at hell.com.
It isnt art... or so they claim it isnt. You paid $25 for an email address you never used? When you can get free mail forwarding from this site? You can get POP mail here for only $15
Hell.com is.... interesting though. I think they made good use of the name. There is way too many normal sites on the internet.
-
Funny, I signed up there yesterday too. I got this in my mailbox:
quote:
we have just recieved a request to put this email account
on HELL.COM's guestlist
we will rarely mail anything to you
we share our lists with NOBODY
this is the begining of a journey that can take years
nothing will ever be explained
you will never understand.
to verify that you wish to be a guest of HELL.COM
you must REPLY this email back to us exactly as it is.
[only] the email address listed as the *sender*
will be added to the guestlist
if you did not make this application
or
you do not wish to be on this list
DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
your address has already been deleted from our database.
do NOT waste your time adding questions or comments to your
reply
as they will not be seen or appreciated
this process is handled by a robot
if you were only trying to purchase an HELL.COM email address
go directly http://HELL.COM/@ (http://HELL.COM/@)
