Ahhh, referrer tricks. It would have been nice if it was being viewed by some other browser when the screenshot was taken. Now I have to get the eye drops out.

I wonder what kind of point they were trying to get across in all of that gibberish. Oh, looks like they don't want bush to bomb iraq for oil. Looks like a general anti-war post. I can agree with how bush should focus on one target then move to the next. Have other countries (such as the UK, since it appears bush owns blair) search iraq for us before the government goes into any more debt. Maybe if they had made their message a little clearer...

It doesn't look like the message was pre-prepped. And it's not like they had all the time in the world...

Sorry, still using Windows XP here, and yes, it is working like it should, my uptime thus far is 90 days and counting.

I do have Mozilla, but was using IE at the time.

90 days huh. Well that tells me that you havent patched any of the found Microsoft vulnerabilities in the last 90 days since patching vulnerabilities in a MS OS requires a reboot. Good stability, bad security.

why can't i see the fucking image???

ctrl-alt-del can you please put up an html page with that image embedded in it?

geocities does not allow offsite linking. thank you.

either that or put it on a real webspace account from netfirms or boomspeed.

or can somebody else host it? i went to sony's real website and it looked pretty shocking in the first place...

this is all i could find. (http://www.diaries.com/ShareMe/stories/storyReader$690)

Being a user of GeoCities, I know what the problem is.

You can't link to anything other than .html

I don't know why, but that's the way it is. Put the pic in an .html and then post the link. This should work.

yes he can... you just have to fuckin type the url in a new window (or tab) like it was already fuckin mentioned.

master of fucking reality, you are fucking wrong, you fuck. psyjax is 100% correct. if i hadn't tried the typing it into the url trick then i would not be posting saying it didn't work would i?

maybe some people are that stupid, but i tend to read posts before replying to them.

now how do i really see the image? hmmm?

it worked for me the other day... so i dunno what to tell ya. Maybe we should start a petition to get ctrl-alt-del to fix the link or put the pic back up.

Damn m0r, didn't mean to incure your wrath. But what I said has allways been my experience.

I posted some pics down in the shameless screenshot thread and first they were just linked directly to the image. The same error as above occured, after reading the terms of use I realized that they don't allow linking to content unless it's from a page in your site.

Thus, I put my images in the .html for my site and it worked flawlessly. Weather GeoCities protection is 100% or not, i dunno, but I do know that if they are embeded in the .html the images will work 100% of the time.

yes, that's right! you get the star prize! that is exactly correct. which is why the download page is hosted at geocities on my website (at www.calumsmusic.netfirms.com (http://www.calumsmusic.netfirms.com) ) even though the rest of the site is on netfirms. i cannot link to the mp3s on geocities unless i do it from a html file also hosted on geocities.
