Display's best @ 1024xseven sixty eight in Mozilla
IE should work too :(
New News for all in a New Newsletter
good line wasnt it!
-
The site users.bigpond.com is running Microsoft-IIS/5.0 on Windows 2000. which may go some way to explaining why the host "users.bigpond.com" cannot be resolved. 'Nuff said. I don't know if i am comfortable with this newsletter thing being hosted on windows...
-
Well, I'm not very comfortable with that either but the outcome is sort of symphatetic. X11, you forgot the "e" letter after "i" in the word Society on the top of your page. Keep it up but try hosting your newsletter on another site which runs on some *nix alternative of Winbloze.
-
Yes i will be changeing ISP soon and i checked the one im changeing to its FreeBSD
-
yay! my ISP is a user of Linux!
-
well, i just put my seminal page up at http://www.boomspeed.com/calumwith1l/index.htm (http://www.boomspeed.com/calumwith1l/index.htm) and it's running linux too. (although it's not my isp...)
-
that is a way too bright and colourful newsletter. It should be the same colour scheme of MES.
-
My news letter is quite good. I will have my site like that when i have my own webserver as i will do the whole site in PHP or something. Bur seriously thats pure quality. As it is the Second (The first was a fucking mess) its not perfect but what do you think of the content. And if you want to shout out just email me a story. And i will put it in there!

Sorry to say this X but please refrain yourself from making any monstrocity like this again.

How shall i improve?
-
What matters is the effort. So, instead of blaming X11 for the outcome, we should try supporting him. What matters to me is people who dare to spread the word. X11 keep it up ;)
-
Hey, I'm not blaming X, just pointing out to him that my opinion of his work didn't change much since the last one :D
first : change the colourscheme .... it's ugly (and that's an understatement ... lol)
about the content:
the colourscheme scared me so much I didn't even bother to read it (which is also the reason to change it ;) )
-
the content is alright.
-
I definitely agree about the colorscheme. It's almost..scary :D
-
why dont you get a mailing list service from bravenet.com and let people sign up to receive the newletters in their e-mail? I have a Bob mailing list, and you can make excellant HTML newsletter in for it.

well i did quite like yr little animation! where are the samples from again? I have heard them in a Pre-Shrunk song before i forget which one, i think it was "Hot Robots" by Pre-Shrunk (and you should know who they are, they're from round your way)
-
The samples on my little flash anim are from a game
called counterstrike... Say anyone, I need a program (that works) to convert WAV to MP3 then i will release ALL of my songs on my Website. My songs are mostly techno/trance... but i am sampling all sorts of songs to make my own.... like that song at the start of Gone in 60 seconds "Bring Sally up bring sally down" And i will make some "Well Cool" mixes on my PC. Also thy flash anim was done in Mac OS X at friends computer. (He did it not me) He will make a better one.
Also SIGN UP FOR THE NEWLETTER!!!!
-
MUCH..MUCH BETTER! Great xork X11! Keep it up ;)
