Title: ebay and eu

Just a small question, people, to eu citizens.
has anyone out there tried so far the ebay servicies? I mean, are there any tax problems regarding shippin from the us to the eu?
The last time that a friend of mine sent me a camera from the us, I had to pay so much in taxes I regreted I ordered it the first place.
Is there something similar to ebay for the eu?

Most of the central European nations have their own domestic ebay service.

www.ebay.ie (http://www.ebay.ie)

See if your country has one, also there qhouldn't be any duties if you buy within the EU (I think)
