breaking up MS won't do ANYTHING at all. how can it? if the stuff is still owned by Bill Gates then what good is it?

Hey guys, I'm not too up2date on industrial/corporate abuses. Did Rockefeler get to own all the small companies (ie exxon among others)?

theoretically, they will be split into a systems company and an apps/programs company. This will supposedly make the systems side compete more evenly with other systems producing companies, and also make the programs side compete more evenly with other program developers (because they will no longer have biased intimate knowledge of the OS that other companies are denied).
Of course it's all bullshit because it won't happen, and also if it did, money and cronyism would circumvent it within weeks.
btw, how do i vote in that poll?
