i used to see that advert when i had a jokeaday.net email address! they used to have it on the page whenever i was checking my emails! it's good to see it again!  :D

on the subject of AOL, I must urge you to go and read this fantastic page by Ray Owens! (http://jokeaday.net/71863.shtml) He runs a mailing list where he sends out nasty jokes to people, but does not allow anybody who uses AOL to sign up for it.

as for aol, the only good thing they have ever done is give us mozilla.

AOL did not give us mozilla, netscape communications did. AOL bought netscape, just like they bought DC comics and Warner brothers, both of whom i expect to deteriorate soon enough, and they probably bought a lot of other things that will turn out to be shit too...

Then AOL bought up WinAmp so there goes the best media player I've used.  And yeah Calum, DC Comics arent the best, I havent read any mainstream comics in the past few years despite being a local legend at Danger Room Comics (Local) for being there over 7 years...
