Are we still considering another moderator for the windows section or have we given up on that? Hasn't been discussed in a while, the last topic seemed to just stop.

Yeah, what happened with that? Can other moderators raise someone to moderator as well, or doees webmaster have to do that?

webmaster has to do it.

Probably the first person to email the Webmaster asking to be a mod in the windows forum will get it.

My question is: Why should a Windows forum even exist on a site called fuckmicrosoft.com? Then again if everyone is cool about this, I guess it's only a question of mine.

Well my question was more of a rhetorical one but then again the Windows forum has always been a perfect "trap" for Windows users who came here and an excellent opprtunity to convert them or at least persuade them about the benefits of other OSes.   :D

Too bad is usually ends up looking like this:

JeffyXP-user: Can any 1 tell me how 2 make windows XP hack my grandma's MSN account?
Random-user: NO YOU LOSER YOU SHOULD USE LINUX
Random-user: Please visit www.windowsbs.com (http://www.windowsbs.com)
Random-user: Can I borrow a dollar?

the very fact that people post in the windows forum shows we should still have it.
personally i think we should add a 'unix in the news' forum and the forum list will finally be complete.
