Is the mail server down again?

My email client hasn't been able to connect to mail.fuckMicrosoft.com since yesterday afternoon and I'm getting worried cos I have a ton of email to get thru.

Anyone know what's going on?

Didn't want to be a PITA to real busy people. But I guess I'll have email them.

I always imagine the poor guy getting hundreds/thousands of email about a server down...

I have no other option for you, except maybe wait and see. He might be fixing the problem as we speak.

That's really funny, e-mailing somone to tell them that the e-mail doesn't work. Sort of like calling the phone company to say that the phones don't work . . .

i know i know. But like most people. Im sure he has an alternative email address. like the one from his isp, or some random yahoo email account or something. Plus, you need one to sign up to get an email account here anyways.

fuck mail rewdiret dose not work

froums look very old

and now this

The only thing fixed is the mod shortage.

Well I still haven't email fuckMicrosoft.com but email still not working.  Also having problems sending/receiving email from other email addresses like phreaker.net.     :(

I'm starting to wonder if a root server has been taken down.

The problem is the MX record for fuckmicrosoft.com points to a.mx.rapturesecurity.com and rapturesecurity.com no longer exists. Maybe the server itself is up and running just fine but nobody will be able to send mail to anybody at fuckmicrosoft.com

Not only that, but there's no longer an A record for mail.fuckmicrosoft.com, so even if there is mail on the server for us, we can't connect to it.

Your best best is to email [email protected] which is listed in fuckmicrosoft.com's whois record.
