those dumbass windows sites always turn out to be hosted on linux machines. It's a pity that there's no linux distribution that refuses to host windows related garbage! ;)
So far the only sites i've seen come up as windows on netcraft are microsoft.com and it's subsidiary sites.
-
please don't scan my website, it's on Windows lol
i sort have to because the Linux computer goes down in 1 week and i have an SQL problem which i dont have time to fix... :(

mine's on linux. (and so are at least some of gooseberry clock's irritating graphics, despite how he moans about linux sometimes)
-
The site www.windowsbbs.com (http://www.windowsbbs.com) is running Apache/1.3.19 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a mod_perl/1.24_01 mod_throttle/2.11 PHP/4.1.2 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_ssl/2.8.3 OpenSSL/0.9.6b on Linux.
its that dumbass win user forum site.
-
i hate them.
they deleted my first post and banned my IP without writing me to tell me why just because i said "linux" in one of my posts. i wasn't offensive, or pushy, i just said "linux" in my first post. within five minutes, banned. 3 months later, that IP is still offline. Pathetic.
Anybody wishing to sign up there, they don't allow "free" email addresses. Use your free fuckmicrosoft.com address from this site and it will work perfectly.
As soon as they banned me i checked to see and sure enough those fucktards were hosted on linux. Just like all the windows losers usually are. Morons.
-
I posted about 20 times (as fast as i could) about the wonders of how Linux could solve whatever problem I was replying to. Some people asked for a Mac OS X user too, to get an opinion whether it would be better.
-
I am now banned too.
But they cant get rid of me that easy. I will start a new account from school, and from anyone elses house who has the internet (http://smile.gif)

i bet those morons seriously think that mentioning linux constitutes a breach of their forum rules. They need some serious destruction to be applied to their servers. I know nothing about networking as i mention elsewhere, so i remain frustrated about this.
Of course i have dialup at home, so i could sign up a new account each time i connect, but i cannot be arsed. I would rather find out how to bring down their server, then continue to do so until they have no regular posters.
cunts.
-
It'll be very hard to take down their server, as it is running Linux (http://smile.gif)
-
sad, isn't it. They get the benefits of linux, then use them to unfairly discriminate against linux users while peddling winporn to their sad desperate windows user clientele.
These people should be forced to use windows servers, if they peddle windows propaganda.

Or forced to shud down their website, and do something usefull with their lives :D

Knackered HD
Dear Doctor eXPert,
I have been trying to install XP for a few days and keep getting this error message: "Setup has determined that drive C: is corrupted and cannot be repaired." Set cannot continue. I have run Norton and the win98 utilities to try and find the problem but can only find a few bad sectors. Do you know if I need to replace my HD?
- Anon
Doctor eXPert replies:
Buy a new hard drive! My experience in hardware troubleshooting is extensive. Bad sectors on a hard drive are equal to bad news. I have found that drives with bad sectors usually develop more. I liken this to cancer, once it starts it's a hard thing to stop or get rid of. The cost of a hard drive is very cheap compared to the cost of Aspirin to get rid of the headache when the system crashes and you lose everything.
Gee... that's really brainf**ked...
What the hell has asperins got to do with a computer? Stupid comparation + I had to read the text about 3 times, before I could figure out what Doctor eXPert meanth with asperins...

Wanna get back on? Then simply delete the cookie and create a new account. It is a vBulletin after all.
-
