Title: my ikonboard debugging (formerly YaBB)
Post by: Master of Reality on 27 July 2002, 02:00: has anyone else had troubles gettnig YaBB to send out mail? I have it set to use sendmail. I know sendmail works because i have used it to email myself before, but i never got the email from YaBB i was supposed to get with my password.

I was just at another's house and the avatars directory appeared setup wrong. Now i am at home and it is working. Please post any problems

saw a few html oopses in main page, use free frontpage 2000 html tools, it brings it down to lowest tolerances http://www.evrsoft.com/ (http://www.evrsoft.com/) that is only in winders tho

it works, its an ikonboard. It isnt highly customized yet but it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by: Calum on 3 August 2002, 04:39: well, i use phpBB for my board, incidentally it can be found at http://nelie.org/polytheism/forum (http://nelie.org/polytheism/forum) if anybody wants to come and say some stuff, and so far i find it is really smooth, and i'd recommend switching to anybody who is having problems with their old board.

And might i say that my phpBB board and my http://polytheism.cjb.net (http://polytheism.cjb.net) site (which is the affiliated site) are all totally free services and software, which are mostly open source and are entirely microsoft free. I would recommend against anything that is "only in winders".
