ive seen commercials for apple and of course m$ but not for any distros of linux. how realistic does everyone think it is to have some? or do you think the bigger distros are waiting for more desktop freindly features to be adapted?

IBM had some Linux commercials but they were server-oriented. Anyway, I hate most commercials (including the Apple and Microsoft ones) so I frankly don't care. I think word of mouth and giving free CDs away would do the job just fine. When Linux is "ready" for Joe Schmoe's use, he'll start using it.
