Personally, I believe this will cause more car crashes than ever. People can't even use a cell phone and drive.

I agree with you. A computer built into the car will be nothing more than a distraction(just like having a TV and DVD player in your car or a Cell Phone). Interesting, the Windows machines for the car will not have an x86 CPU, it will be using a 166mhz RISC CPU. I wonder what CPU exactly they will have? I wonder if this means there will be a Windows made for RISC systems in the future?

Buy a Clarion Cadias car and hack the RISC-chip Windows version out of the hardware

Windows for RISC?
You mean like the Alpha, Sparc, and PPC versions of NT that existed through 4.0? =^)
I still wanna know how to boot and install NT 4 on a Power Mac, just to say I'd done it.

It's more like "Windows for RISK". You got Windows in your car, your gonna crash at some point. (http://smile.gif)
Actually NT 3.51 used to support Alpha, MIPS, and PPC but they dropped that like a lead balloon.

Erm... It's called Pocket PC.
In fact the 2002 version only supports the Intel StrongARM.
