Title: About the Nigerian Money Laundering Scheme
Post by: Pissed_Macman on 31 July 2003, 03:17
I found some information about it. It actually dates back from the twenties and the people sending the emails out are mostly real Nigerians (that still want to rip you off).

I remember when, in the days before email, they would send you real letters through the post, with a real stamp on it.

People actually fall for these scams, can you believe that

My last reply to this scam email

"WOW this is what I've been waiting for my whole life!  What do you need?  My power of attourney?  How about I just give you my bank account numbers so you can take my life's savings."

I never got a reply.    :D
