remember that 'free the software' song by the GNU Stallmans? the flash video above is like a little IBM linux advert, but it uses a version of that song as the music! cool, eh?

I just posted those links to make it better for others. And why did you post html for the last two.
I will say the evolution one was the funniest!

I saw that on newsforge. I thought one poster hit the nail on the head when he remarked that IBM was being a little hypocritical when they require proprietary software (macromedia flash) to view their cute Linux animations.

X11, i tried to link directly to the swf files but for some reason two didn't work on my browser, so i just posted the html pages instead (even though i can't be bothered with that sort of thing)
void main, too true, like the other IBM linux commercial i saw which was available as windows media or quicktime movies! i couldn't believe it!
you'll see IBM made a couple of those flash movies as quicktime and realplayer movies too. Ironically flash movies are the most open of all those formats these days (aren't they? i thought macromedia opened up that file format recently).

Hey void main, are you that penguing on the motorcycle from freecode.swf? :D

There is a techno version of the free software song floating aroung the net somewhere...
