Actually that's more true than you might think (well, except for the Windows users switching part). I've been perfectly content without Planetside or any of those other Windows-only games because there are a lot of private game makers who will let you download their games for free.

Why cant they do gaming benchmarks? I wonder how many fps it gets on Unreal Tournament 2003.

Athlon 64? We've been hearing about it for HOW LONG now? Longer than the rumors of the PPC 970, and guess what. We've now got 64-bit personal computers, and I see IBM's name on the processors... not AMD's.
Besides, it's CISC, it's going to run hotter, run slower, and run Windows.
I'm sorry. My G4 867 was giving my friend's 2.5GHz P4 a run for its money at times. My G5 1.6 is easily three times faster in all tests I've given it. No... Hammer can't save x86, only prolong the life-support
