Shakey, Shakey did you feel the quakey?
Hey calum and flap di you feel the earthquake?
-
nope, never noticed it...
some people however will claim we don't even get earthquakes here...
-
Technically we shouldn't, but shit happens...
-
I live in Blackpool, and my girlfriend and myself slept like babies right through it. How anybody in Yaarkshire felt it is beyond me! I know if they drop/lose money over there they think its a issue on scale with a quake.
-
What makes you think i'm from yorkshire?
-
yeah, you're probably from gtr manchester, as a matter of odds (now i've said that, i bet you're in an old mining cottage in Lancaster. nicer view than in manchester at least, and cleaner air...)
-
I never said you was from Yaarkshire i was simply making a statement coming from a news report i heard about how ppl from the "i love money" county were ringing help lines wondering what to do because of a minor rumble 300 hundred miles away!
Sorry if you thought this was aimed at you. ;)
-
Funnily enough I am in yorkshire, but *TEMPORARILY*. I am born in manchester, damn I wish I was there now.
-
did you ring any help lines?
-
Did I frig, It was 1am and I hadnt gotten to sleep yet, I thought my bed shaking was rather odd but I really needed to get to sleep so I put my head back down and slept.
-
Wait there your bed was shaking and you thought it was odd?
HAHAHAHA...er yeah, sorry it just sounds funny the way you typed that! (http://tongue.gif)

Heh heh, we had one that was a 5 or 6 a few months back. I was in my basement sitting in my easyboy on a concrete floor. My chair started shaking but I initially thought my wife came up behind me to scare me by shaking the chair. When I looked back and saw noone there I got a little freaked out and thought I was losing my mind. It wasn't until I got a call from someone about 50 miles away to ask me if I felt the quake that I realized what actually had happened.
That's the first time I experienced anything like that. I do live near a major fault line that they predict will let loose in a big way at some point in the near future but rarely do we have any quakes/tremors that you can actually feel. Glad I don't live in California where that sort of thing is a weekly occurance. Don't think I could take it.

indiana is at risk of a 8 or 9 pointer they say
california needs to fall into the ocean
