If microsoft buys google (http://www.ciol.com/content/news/2003/103103106.asp), not only will it turn to crap but that will be just one more idea they decided to buy just because they couldn't compete

Nothing good can come of this.  

A partnership... well it is well known what happens to MS Partners who have stuff MS wants...

A merger means google will turn to crap.  :(

god damn what could they possibly gain from this?

all they would do is fuck up a badass search engine

but google may be able to compete just because everyone already uses google

Good for Google but I wonder what's next?  MS announces internet searches integrated into the next version of windows?

lol..it already is. In Longhorn there is a search box in the new sidebar crap. When you type something in it it searches everything - both local and online and network.
