Microsoft of Canada now has a $10 million fund for canadian universities.  But you have to have a MS language as a required computer class.

I was going to be a computer programmer, but I soon discovered that I hated programming. Even without the grant that Microsoft has given them, you will be hard pressed to go through any computer programming course without taking a Microsoft language. Whether we like it or not...Microsoft has cornered the OS market, but hopefully Linux will be able to change all that. I'm waiting until I buy a better computer with a much larger hard drive before I do my migration over to another OS, but until then I have to put up with this buggy, blue screen of death, operating system called Windows 98 SE.:-(

i stayed at the university of waterloo for a week in july. I poured buckets of water(coolers and garbage cans) on the floor in my room, stabbed the beds and walls. Stole lightbulbs and anyhting else i could get my hands on. We also threw mild all over the room. hmmmmmmm, if i had of kown that they accepted some deal like this then i would have actually caused some mischief to say the least. Its a dumpy university and the inhabitants of waterloo can go to Sir wilfred Laurier instead.
