I was working on one that required your username, limited you to so many images/files, and could be monitored a bit better. Its will also be moved to my server instead of the iPowerweb server it was hosted on. This will allow alot more space to be used, and then bandwidth won't even be an issue. However. Since the forums i reguent already have some sort of file hosting service "built in", my service is rather pointless. Erudition, though you need so many credits to post files, has all the functionality built in that I wanted in the first place, and I implemented my own version of that at artformsdesign (with a lot less control ;) ). Perhaps if this thread becomes popular, and members actually want something like this, i will put the new version up, even if it is unfinished. Most likely, I will not. Another issue is that I pay for the hosting, and while I enjoy being able to do something like this freely, non of my sites bring in any money. So it all comes out of my pocket. My space would be better suited to actually work for me somehow. Anyways. This is getting longwinded.
