Title: looking for a free web host

well, illusionfx didn't work out I expected it to   :(  

I back on my feet looking for a free web host that has the following:

1) Perl or PHP support (I perrfer Perl)
2) NO ADS
3) Pop3 email addresses
4) nothing where you have to buya domain (a subdomain will do for me.

5) Not netfirms, they suck too much
6) at least 50 megs

the only good free host i've ever gotten was from people i knew. I would host you but I dont have enough space, maybe you'll get lucky and someone here could help. I doubt you'll find a service for it though.

You can try contacting Sime. He has plenty of space, and he would be glad to host you. He briefly helped me for my home server. He might be busy, though; I haven't heard of him in a long time, though, and I'm still waiting for a reply from him. I haven't seen him post here recently, either.

www.web1000.com (http://www.web1000.com) doesn't always work, but my friend has been hosting with it and seems to be doing fine.

Yeah. There's about a nil chance of finding a host like that. You're either gonna have to pay, or, if you have a good net connection, you can always make your own server.
