and apparently it's working. Millions of people have deleted their downloaded music since August.

They're monitoring P2P traffic and asking survey questions.  I don't think they would "miss" itunes, and "have you deleted your music files lately?" is a non application specific question.  Sorry.  :)  I havent noticed any drop in numbers on the local P2P servers though...
