Title: Screwed by Microsoft
Post by: Refalm on 4 September 2003, 20:11
I have a .com domain name for two years now. With that domain name came 15 free redirect e-mail addresses. It's hosted at ENOM, just because I don't have a lot of money and they where the cheapest.

Now here comes the Microsoft part:
ENOM's server runs on Windows 2000 / IIS 6. It has been recently hit by WS32.Sonig.F@mm. For a week, Refalm.com wouldn't work, and my redirect e-mail isn't working either (sorry Calum). I hope they're going to change software, or I'm going to find myself a new host with a real operating system

so is that redirect nonworking at the moment?

that's bad news, for my two cents, i can recommend xcalibre.co.uk as a replacement domain hoster. they run linux (they have started to offer NT also now though), they are very friendly, inexpensive and provide a lot of services, will do custom packages for you and they're scottish.

ipowerweb has a good package. 500mb of storage, 300 emails, mysql, php, running Linux, for about 7.95 a month. If you pay for one year, you also get free domain registration or trasnfer.

edit- maybe a link would be good...
Im a fucking retard  ;)  (http://www.ipowerweb.com)

I've been looking into www.dathern.com (http://www.dathern.com) recently. Seems like a good deal.
