Title: Streamlining Windows updates
Post by: istruthfull on 13 November 2003, 23:24
Does somebody know were I can go to get information on what the upates really are. M$'s site doesn't really say what they are. It would be nice to know the difference between what they really are and what M$ says they are. Once I understand I'll make it a quest to tell everyone I know how to find out what really is going on. Think of it, everyone knowing the truth of the extra stuff added in with the updates - The reality of M$ motives. This might be a monumental request but if anyone can do this ya'll can.

Only thing I can suggest is to try to track all the changes made to the system during the update process. Try InstallWatch.

You're not suppose to know. But that's OK, after all, you can trust M$.  (http://tongue.gif)

I think it'd be funny if it was proven that they really are just mundane security updates
