Title: Anyone used KnoppiXMAME?

I DLd it but none of the games in the list work, do I have to add my own?

I haven't got it myself, but I suggest trying Alt+F2 and typing "gxmame".
I have no idea if it will work though :)

yes, you have to add your own ROM's

So you basically need to have ROM's already on your harddisk, USB stick or FTP?

Too bad old Nintendo games aren't GPL'ed :)

Where can one find KnoppixMAME? Is it a part of the Knoppix live cd?

I have a few ROM's floating around, in fact I nearly wiped them in the last few days but if there's a Linux version of it out there...

KnoppixMAME is a modded Knoppix actually. Download KnoppixMAME (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=85899).

Yep. Good luck finding Nintendo stuff... IDSA's lawyers specifically send out cease and decist letters ordering sites to take them down. Everything else is still out there if you look hard enough.
