Okay, so I'm considering dumping my anime collection on my tower's drive E: in favor of as much raw information as the drive can handle. Among the highlights:
- FULL MusicBrainz (http://www.musicbrainz.org) data dumps
- Current UPC Database (http://www.upcdatabase.com) dumps
- FULL WikiPedia (http://www.wikipedia.org) (and subservice) dumps; first in English, then in other languages if the space is available)
- FULL FreeDB (http://www.freedb.org) dumps
Hopefully, I'll be able to design a PoindexterBot from all of this, that can cull the data and help delete articles with zero content from the local version.
Now the ultimate question: what should I do with the collection that took me five years to amalgamate?

Back it up to DVDR if you like, you might have the only copy of some of this information, back it up onto DVD-R if you like. I don't really care, how does this affect my life or the lives of everyone else on this planet.
Could it be for the greater good if you keep this information?
Or would it be better if it is destroyed?
