XP Starter Edition won't run on P4's or Athalon Chips.  They deliberately write code to prevent it from running on these chips.  

Aside from being utterly stupid, a purposefully crippled OS is insulting.

Hey, developing countries, Linux doesn't care what hardware you run on.
