For all the FireFox lovers out there *raises hand*, there is a nice Plugin that allows you to view the web how you wish.
Grease Monkey allows users to install/write scripts that change the way you view websites.
An example being, I have downloaded "Google Butler", now everytime I visit google I see no adverts what-so-ever :)
