Anyone know how debian is because i might download it to run it in my file server.

I'm very fond of Debian.  Its library of software is gigantic (14 CDs) and apt-get rules.  In the end though, Linux distributions are just like EQ settings on a stereo: no one can tell you what sounds/works best for you.

Man i just blew a cd-r i thought those were just different install versions or something, i just download #10 and burned it.

Burn the net install and start from there.

i will just stick with mandrake, someday i will try debian, i have cox high speed internet (cable provider in USA) i did a cnet bandwith test and i got 3500 KBps a step a head of T1 for a lot less, no if someone can tell me a screenshot taker for mandrake 10.2 limited edition 2005 KDE and how to find gunzip i could prove my connection speeds

Debian 3.1 (sarge) netinstall is the greatest distro ever created!!
