Title: Cheap Shells?
Post by: Lord C on 19 July 2005, 01:09
Anyone know where I can buy a cheap UK Linux shell?

All I need is a MySQL user/database and one background process.

Or if anyone could provide me with one I would be more than greatful.

I basically just wanna test an old program out.

Oh, sorry. It seems my telepathy module was failing me there.

You also didn't specify that it had to be linux, also, how is he supposed to know that kintaro uses OpenBSD.

Because it says so in his signature:

$2.99 USA account has shell access at http://illhostit.com/packages.php

Any particular reason you need uk?

With the coupon code "90off" it should only be like 29 cents for the first month, and then u can cancel after the first month if you want.

I'm having problems with my Windows machine. Can you help?

A:
Yes. Throw out that Microsoft trash and install an open-source operating system like Linux or BSD.

Note: you can ask questions related to Windows machines if they are about a program that does have an official Windows build, or interacts with Windows machines (i.e. Samba). Just don't be surprised by the reply that the problem is with Windows and not the program, because Windows is so broken in general that this is very often the case.

All hail ESR!!!  This guy knows everything, even how to ask questions properly.  If he is not revered by some religion, he should be.

Well, that defeats the point of signatures, doesn't it. :p
