bootable floppy - drdos (only used to flash my gpu to custom clocks)
bootable cd - some old knoppix that i havent picked up in 2 years, Ubuntu
not installed, but I own: Ubuntu cds that came in mail
my other rig had knoppix installed on hdd and dual booted win2k along with it... but the hdd died.

linux is definitely it's a savior in residence when you want to connect to your residence network without a firewall so all your applications still work.

So many OS on one PC! And I thought 2 linux distros + win98 + FreeBSD was alot...
Well there is also OpenDOS 7 if you count the hard disk image for dosemu running under one of the linux distros.

do you mean the sound? or the entire system?
The sound breaks (the last time i checked) after a kernel upgrade. So i dont upgrade the kernel anymore. my system runs great now.

Yeah, my sound broke, as did my mouse and network, they're all still broken, I'm not sure what to do. :(

Did you compile the kernel yourself?

No, this happened after the Online Update, which updated the kernel.
