Ballmer's threat last November was recounted in a sworn declaration by a former Microsoft engineer, Mark Lucovsky, who said he met with Microsoft's chief executive 10 months ago to discuss his decision to leave the company after six years.
After learning Lucovsky was leaving to take a job at Google, Ballmer picked up his chair and hurled it across his office, according to the declaration.

Ballmer then pejoratively berated Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Lucovsky recalled.
"I'm going to f---ing bury that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again," the declaration quotes Ballmer. "I'm going to f---ing kill Google."
I could've figured he was the angry one at M$, he's probably bending Billy over every which way but he doesn't care cuz it makes him rich.
A question remains when looking at Ballmer's behavior toward competitive companies. Was it Bill Gates who made Microsoft evil, or did he just make it suck and Ballmer made it evil. The latter is my take.

Oh, please, Bill Gates is obviously evil, a trait he apparently inherited from the corporate whore he calls a father. Bill Balmer is hardly the only scum he's recruited.

Bill Balmer, I like that one ;)
-
Haha, I would laugh if the Google CEO went missing and Ballmer got blamed with his murder.

Isn't it Steve or something?

Ballmer's temper is old news. From The Economist, April 1, 1999, "Bill's Bull-horn" http://www.econ omist.com/displaystory.cfm?story_id=195914 (subscription required), a 908-word essay with quotes like, "When Mr Ballmer gets excited, it

Not really, it looks like a good move. That way, the two of them can play "Good Cop; Bad Cop". Ballmer also makes Gates look good.

Good point. He does tend to make Gates look good. However lets not ignore the fact that he has also been highly sucsessful in getting companies to use Microsoft products.

How Microsoft can 'kill' Google
Simple - just buy its customers

Excellent point. MSN, to the best of my knowledge, has never appeared as an answer in the NYTimes crossword puzzle. Google was an answer just this past Sunday.

MSN is a house hold name. Most people associate "MSN" with "MSN Messenger".
It's the same for at least 90% of all people.

A pretty decent percentage of people believe that Windows is the only desktop software, and that George W. Bush is a good president. So I think we should forget about what most people think.
