Absolutely gorgeous, easy, bloody fast, I love it.
It has heaps of software
Had to edit fstab to mount my second Cd rom, and ALSA ain't working yet but that should soon be fixed.
Would have liked some more Window managers to try (Gnome...) I'll add them when I know how.
But it has nearly every thing I have been downloading over the last 3 years.

Fuck, i've broken it already

What'd ya do?

played with Xorg.conf..he he. Want to get my second monitor going.
I've restored the backup (which seems alright) but that hasn't done much. I'll have another play with it after my homework.
-
Just run X -configure. That should fix things up some.
-
Nah I fixed it with vi from the shell.
Shes all go now, both monitors working perfectly.
What I didn't expect is that the two screens act a lot more independently than on windows. You can't move a window from one to the other?
If there any way to send a window to the next screen?

That's simple enough - if you're using Fluxbox, just drag the title bar of the window you want off the edge of the screen.
-
no i tried it in fluxbox, it moves to the next desktop not next screen. Same with KDE.
I don't think X allows you.
-
It does allow you, set up proper Xinerama.

hmmm, no I like the fact that the screens are separate and not just a large virtual desktop. its a lot cleaner.
I'm growing to live with it anyway.
