Title: Windows Mobile is unstable too...
Post by: WMD on 25 January 2004, 03:53
I was at Office Depot a few hours ago.  While I was waiting for my parents to pay for stuff, I played around with an HP iPaq (or whatever they make now, after buying Compaq) that ran Windows Mobile.

I tried loading this site into its IE, and it was trying to connect to the internet.  There WAS a phone cable connected to it, but it wasn't going through...so I started looking at the settings.

I only got so far, when the thing stopped responding to the stylus.  Windows had crashed, and I had to turn off the PDA.

Not surprising. Windows Mobile/CE is a subvesion of Windows Embedded. And as we all know, Windows Embedded has been used and failed in ATMs, train signal systems, and hundreds of other devices.
