What a game. I hope they get Howie Long to be Nukem in the movie, since he IS Duke Nukem.

Duke Nukem 1, released in 1991, is the real Duke Nukem.

Duke 3D is just 3DR cashing in on the "adult video game" trends.

Also, the first Duke Nukem was called "Duke Nukum" ;)

Not when it first came out.  For a short time, it was actually called "Duke Nukem," but they quickly changed it to "Duke Nukum" due to some potential trademark infringment with a character from the TV show "Captain Planet."  Later they found out that there was no trademark on that, and they changed it back for the second game.
