I use Gmail while I have my own POP3 account. It's just a matter of having too much e-mail addresses I guess.

Yo people do you have your own IRC.server
and if you do which network is it in ??
ps:)
you can aways find me at
irc.unibg.org #du3l
or subservers :
irc.spnet.net
irc.nbu.bg

I've had my Yahoo! account for about 8 years. It's nice to have a permanent address. Office emails come and go. ISP emails come and go. But Yahoo! is here to stay. These days, it mostly serves as a spam collector, since I have email addresses from my webhost and job. But it will never truly go away.

Gmail owns yahoo mail any day ... in fact I use my gmail account for online storage as well as mail ... because it takes forever to upload attachments in yahoo, and the yahoo briefcase upload times are horrible, Gmail uploads things 10x faster than yahoo mail and briefcase combined.

Either extremely stupid or extremely irritated individuals. The line dividing the two is oftentimes near-nonexistant. On the other hand, you should see some of the replies I formulate. ;)

Well there's always been:
irc://dognoodle99.cjb.net:6667 #mes
Which is run by me. Thing is, it hasn't been used much in the past few months. It's still running, though.
-
Off topic...
Well, I'm found on gm2.ath.cx in #gm or #gm2 (one of them is usually invite-only, ask me in the other one.)
-
How is the set-up
over there( the irc servers)
here all servers are hook-ed up
too THE: irc.UNIBG.org
network and it is all the same which one you connect to :)
is there some sort of unification
there too ?
-
WMD: How would I connect to that in xchat? It tells me:
* Looking up irc:/
* Unknown host. Maybe you misspelled it?
-
Don't put the irc:/
Just the hostname itself. And note that I restarted everything after a power outage today, so...hopefully it's working.
-
Sorry, my power went out right after the previous post and came back on ten minutes ago. :o
