I just reinstalled XP, and now when I try to download virtual java machine it says it is no longer availible. What do I have to do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance, The Slave

why did you reinstall windows xp?
try http://java.sun.com/getjava/ (http://java.sun.com/getjava/)
you can get the java virtual machine there i think (if i understand you correctly) and you can get it for linux too, which i strongly suggest you get as well as, or preferably instead of windows xp.

The Microsoft Java Virtual Machine got yanked for a while but it should be back now(it has been back since Aug, 19th). If you can't find it there you can download the latest build (3805) here. (http://ftp://ftp.visualware.com/pub/java/msjavx86.exe)

yeah, better get the microsoft version instead of the Sun microsystems version, eh? since Sun invented the Java Virtual Machine, i am sure that Microsoft's attempt will be a lot better. (sarcasm in case you didn't know).
Yes, go and get the Microsoft version. I hope it fucks up winXP and forces you to buy a new licence next year. and the year after. and the year after that. (oh hang on, that's what happens with winXP anyway isn't it?)
