Firefox cache error
« on: 15 July 2006, 19:52 »
Yesterday something strange happened with FF, wish I had taken a few screenshots, but here's what happened. All of a sudden some images on any particular site changed to those on a site I previously visited. For example the avatar pictures on this forum were not the same ones they are now but were images from sites I visited eariler in the day ...

And then I thought it might be a problem with the cache so I cleared the cache files and it went away.

Any ideas ? Has this happened to anyone before ?

I've had that happen in Opera.  Always happens when the browser crashes, after I bring it back up.  Clearing the cache makes it go away...eventually.

It might be cached file corruption ? FF did crash several times yesterday, so I think it's possible.
