Before I get a chance to see it, I would like to comment on the name. It sucks. When Abie Hoffman first wrote "Steal this Book", it was an intriguing title. The book contained instructions on (among other things) how to steal books. So it was creative as well as honest. Since then, "Steal this *" has become overused. There's a series of books called "Steal this Computer Book" about computer security, which costs $30 each. There's an album of outtake recordings by System of A Down called "Steal this Album", which costs just as much as a regular album. You can probably think of many other examples.
So, this film, from the getgo, sounds like a creative scam. Certainly, it is free, and it tells you how to 'steal' films. But the overuse of the term makes it sound stupid. Even though the film was title was symbolic in a way Abie Hoffman might have approved of, the rest of the assclowns out there have destroyed the potential meanings of the phrase.
