the crocodile guy is an easy one to poke fun at but take a look at him and see if you can't honestly say he wasn't a really decent bloke.

i think it's a shame. it's like life saying "there you go, that proves you shouldn't try to be adventurous". Kind of like score one for the normal boring faction.

i hope he's up there somewhere entertaining people in the hereafter with his optimistic shouts of "take a look at that" etc.

Naughty naughty!

Did you know, Steve Irwin was falsely rumoured to have been killed so many times, Urban legends had a spot just for him? It's true, check itout!

Steves Personal Urban Legends Page

Crikey, what a mess that was!

OK now, the jokes I've heard so far was, hey steve, that was a sharp bit of tail!

And

Steve Irwin will always have a bit of ray in his heart.

I've been there ... and I'm still alive. I didn't stay in the water long tho ... not cuz of sharks, but cuz of jellyfish (I don't like em, and they're often extremely poisonous)

He was chasing a very large stingray and the camera guy got in it's way then it got scared and turned towards him and attacked. Never trap a stingray I guess. I'm just glad it wasn't a croc when I first heard of this. Yeah I liked the guy, or his shows anyways.

Owned, he died on my birthday.

An American told me "the reason why we like him is because all our celebritys are junkies." I'm just thinking: whats wrong with that?

i don't know, something about specifying a questionable difference between americans and australians perhaps?

to me racist means prejudice about a specific race or species, which is not what is happening here, if any prejudice is being exhibited (i'm not sure that it is) then it's based on nationality, not race or species.

how's that for pedantic post of the month!
