MS's interpretation: eXPerience

Dictionary: Symbol or monogram for Christ or Christianity (from X and P, the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ)
Acronymfinder.com (top result): Cross Polarization

Check my sig for what all the other ones mean   :D

well when i bought sound forge 5 (it came out in early to mid 2001) i found that the crippledbutyoustillpayforit version was known as "Sound Forge XP Studio 5". This sucks. Good job the full version is just known as "Sound Forge 5" because i don't want to ever have XP on my machine...

still, that was the first time i heard of XP and i still don't know what it means. 'extra pee'?

Here's a good one:

quote:
There is no cure for XP. The DNA damage is cumulative and irreversible. Management is limited to avoidance of exposure to damaging UV radiation by staying indoors with sunlight blocked out, and use of protective clothing, sunscreens and sunglasses. Also, avoid other known carcinogens.

And Another:

quote:
XP: A Nightmarish Disease
"A child in a wheelchair knows another child in a wheelchair," Daniel says. "It was heartbreaking to discover that Katie would never encounter another kid like her, and we knew we had to do something to bring together families affected by XP."

Now that is just plain creepy.

Regarding your sig, I like all except the NT one.
"Nimrod" isn't an insult or putdown.  It means "Mighty Hunter."  Bugs Bunny used to use it sarcastically when referring to Elmer Fudd's hunting ability.  How about Numbskull Technolgy?

Actually XP stands for Xerox Product. As in a photocopy of a real O.S.
