I am getting a stop error 0X79.

Anyone know what this means or how to prevent it?

If you want us to help you, please provide some more information than just a 'stop code', provide us what OS you have, what kind of PC, what kind of
hardware, etc.

sounds like a ID-10 T error to me

Actually I believe it's an MVS JCL error from an IBM 3090 mainframe.
