I have a pc (I know, I hate it) and I noticed you can't read MS Word files. Microsoft double-crossed itself! Fuck microsoft.

Yeah, that does suck bunches. If you try to read Works on Word, it wants to change it so it can read the Works shit, and then you can't use Works anymore.

Dumb fucks.

And if you want to read the word files right, you need to download their "works veiwer" no cut and paste or editing. Fuck them.

Perhaps you should try installing Microsoft Word.

Better yet, install OpenOffice. Then you don't get yourself caught up in Microsoft's costly yearly upgrade plan.

What costly upgrade plan? Just install Office 97 and stick with it.

anybody notice that gooseberry clock is from the "United Kingdom"?

Anybody knows that a person claiming to be from the "United Kingdom" must be English, since the Welsh, Scottish and Irish all know that our so called kingdom is anything but united.

Next he'll be saying he comes from "Great Britain"!

Maybe he'd be running to his local IT store to 'simply' buy winblows xp and office xp ....

I remember to have read a post somewhere where mr. Clock had his town of origin posted instead of UK.

Maybe his next 'from' will be europe ... or Milky Way

Why must you patronize americans, I know were that is!... but then again I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and traveld in Europe for a while.

Ya, I think avoiding being raised on MTV and sitcoms helped making me a more well rounded sort of person.

No problem there Druid. I'm from the Midwestern part of USA and I know where Wales is. I have never been there but studied geography in school 30+ years ago. I still remember some of it.

Could people give us Americans just a little bit of credit?  Please?     I recently graduated from the public school systems where geography is no longer taught (at least not formally) and I still know where Wales is located.  Maybe it has something to do with my Scotch and Irish ancestry . . . which has been traced back to McBeth and the first kings of Ireland (yes, McBeth was a real Scotish king).  Not all of us are ignorant or ethnocentric . . . unfortunately most of our "elected" officials are and that damages the image of the rest of us.

Town of origin? That can't be right. I'd never put stuff like that on the net.
