MS interested in Linux

Microsoft Netherlands is intersted in Linux. They have sent a fax to Open Office V.O.F. a Dutch company providing advice about OpenSource and installing Linux based computer networks.

In their fax they asked the following (translated from Dutch):
- What is Linux?
- What does Linux do?
- What partners are participating in Linux?
- Why are these partners choosing Linux?
- What advantages does Linux give compared to other technologies?
- What does the service and support look like?
- Etc.

The director of Open Office, Valentijn Sessink didn't want a meeting with Jessica Koopman, internal account manager of Microsoft Netherlands B.V..

Valentijn Sessink said that he only would do it at a high consultancyprice. When Microsoft said that they cancelled the meeting, Sessink admitted that he didn't felt like having a meeting with Microsoft.

Sources (all in Dutch, if you have a translator, please translate, for I can not   :(  ):

WebWereld (news item)
Tweakers.net (discussion)
