Simple MP3 to WAV and burn
« on: 8 December 2002, 00:08 »
is there an easy way to just make the mp3 to wav and burn without me having to write my own script. Isnt there something easy like "Easy CD Creator" in windows?? It can create music CDs with the MP3s (or converts them to WAV first or whatever)

I haven't used it but this app looks very promising:

And there is an RPM for RedHat 8.0 and other systems. I just installed it and it appears to be pretty slick.

My daughter just uses Xcdroast with no problem. But they have to already be in WAV format with Xcdroast. She doesn't do MP3's though, just rips songs from her existing CDs to make her own mixes. You can convert all MP3's to WAV in a directory with a single command line though so it's not too much work.
