I'm running a Mandrake 9 box at my friend's house, and I like it very much. For the 'normal' things, at least ...

'cuz sqpro [quake 1 linux executable] keeps looping
a wierd sound; there must be something wrong with the buffer, or with /dev/dsp ... ?

UnrealTournament gives, after showing a nice splash screen, this error;
Code: [Select]

Any help?

I read somewhere that UT only ran good with 3dfx boards on linux, however go here
http://www.justlinux.com/nhf
and click on "games" and then on "unreal tournament" (the complete link fails to bring you there).

Some guys mention that page as the solution to their problems, main issue is Glibc apparently.
